"Between Men and Women" Couples Weekend Workshop - June 5-6, 2010, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

“Divine Dance of the Sexes” Couples Wellness Workshop

It costs your company $8000 every time an employee divorces.

(Life Innovations Inc. and the Marriage CoMission, 2006)

***********************************************************************************************************
Your employees’ personal relationships really are YOUR BUSINESS.
***********************************************************************************************************

They have to be. And done properly, your staff will appreciate you for supporting them.

Did you know…

  • Staff relationship problems cost American companies $6 billion per year in lost productivity. (Forthofer, Markman, Cox, Stanley & Kessler, 1996)
  • In the year following divorce, employees lose an average of over 168 hours of work time, or about four additional weeks in one calendar year. (Mueller, 2005)
  • Men and women who divorce are between 2 – 4 times more likely to become depressed than counterparts who remain married. (Statistics Canada, 2007)
  • A recent study found that when dual-income couples are happily married, they have a greater level of commitment to their employers, thus reducing employee turnover. (Curtis, 2006)
  • Stress associated with poor marriages increased the likelihood of a heart attack or other heart disease in both male and female subjects by as much as 34%. (University College, 2007)
  • All of the above emotional and physical health risks associated with struggling relationships cost companies in higher insurance premiums and healthcare expenditures. (Gallagher, 2002)

With the divorce rate hovering stubbornly close to 50% (and approximately 65% for second marriages), your company cannot avoid these costs.

You can, however, act to minimize the likelihood or frequency you will have to incur them by supporting your staff in maintaining strong personal relationships at home.

Far from meddling in your employees private affairs, your staff will appreciate the support.

According to the Families and Work Institute’s survey of senior and pipeline managers at six major multinational companies, “Having a supportive work environment” was the most highly valued quality of an employer. “Having a good fit between life on and off the job” was the 3rd and 4th highest workplace value for women and men respectively.

***********************************************************************************************************
“The Divine Dance of the Sexes”© Couples Wellness Workshop is a relationship support program with a difference.
***********************************************************************************************************

“The Divine Dance of the Sexes” Couples Wellness Workshop is about who men and women are naturally. The differences between men and women are real and often misunderstood. Gender and relationship experts Donna Tosky and Jason Krausert interpret these differences in behaviour. A basic understanding of what is going on with their partner is often all it takes to return fun, ease and intimacy to troubled relationships.

The “Divine Dance of the Sexes” is not counseling. It’s not psychological analysis. It’s not about digging into a painful past.

***********************************************************************************************************
The “Divine Dance of the Sexes”:
***********************************************************************************************************

  • is about who men and women are naturally based on years of observation in real life situations
  • is Practical,  Actionable and Relevant for the real lives of real people
  • produces immediate and lasting results
  • is interactive without being forceful or invasive

***********************************************************************************************************

-Dee Anderson, Dental Hygienist (Canmore, Alberta)

Session 3: Woman’s Desire and Man’s Production: The Perfect Complement
Session 3 holds the key to a satisfying intimate relationship. On one level, putting the natural energy flow of desire and production to work for you will generate connectedness and intimacy between partners. The deeper cut, however, speaks to the spiritual perfection of the design of what goes on between men and women. A few topics we’ll bring to light include:

*The awesome power of female desire
*Why the bigger her desire (i.e., the more she wants) the better for everyone
*Why it’s hard for a woman to know what she wants and how to ask for it
*The subtle clues men need to be on the lookout for to discern what she wants
*Why satisfying her wants should be the top priority of every man
*Why men doubt their production…and why it’s a critical part of the Desire/Production cycle

“The concepts presented are so astoundingly simple, yet produce simply astounding results! Thank you!”
-Denise (Banff, Alberta)

Session 4: Lifting the Veil on What Women Want
The is the session men love the most because it answers simply and clearly that age-old question, “What do women want?” Men love knowing it, and women love that men know it. In Session 4 we reveal:

*The top 3 things women want from the man in their life
*How female desire powers the show
*The nature of female desire – how it looks, what it is and what it isn’t
*How women ask for what they want
*Why women should celebrate their desire (Being “selfish” actually serves the big picture.)

“The hero knows what a woman really wants and when he’s not guessing, he’s really a hero!”
-Janet Gurtler, Writer/Member – Romance Writers Of America

Session 5: What Men Want
This is the shortest session, but it’s powerful. Women are surprised at the end of it, and delighted when they get used to the idea we share.

“The best part of the program was what I learned from the men in our group. It was mind-boggling! It was momentous! I was inspired. As I write this I am planning my wedding. I’m going to marry the most beautiful, simple, walk-the-line guy (and they are ALL beautiful, simple, walk-the-line guys – we just don’t know how to treat them right!). Our relationship is uncommonly open and bright and amazing, and I owe it all to this course.”
-Vickie (Woman) (Manchester, England)

Session 6: “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”
Women get a lot of relief in Session 6 when they discover the low-grade anger they feel, often toward men, is common. Participants hear:

*Why women are angry
*What that anger costs them
*How they can transform it

“I now have a better understanding of women and myself. I won’t take things said by women personally. As a result, I will be able to expand my awareness, in relationship with women, of their needs and desires. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for growth in their relationships and a better understanding of the role of gender in relationships.”
-Paul Bedford, Retail Manager (Canmore, Alberta)

Session 7: How Women Can Disempower Men
Women have more impact on men than they realize. The tone of her voice, a sigh or the look in her eye can change the course of his day. Her words can be devastating. After Session 7, participants understand:

*The 3 ways women take men down at the knees
*Why women do this even though they don’t like to
*How men can decipher the hidden message when this happens and respond in a way that moves you both forward
*How men can handle it without making her wrong

“I realized during the (writer’s) workshop that I wasn’t letting my hero be heroic for my heroine in my work and in my own life.”
-Vivi Anna, Author & President Of Calgary Chapter- Romance Writers Of America (www.vivianna.net)

Session 8: How to Have a Man Gladly Give You What You Want
Session 8 is about everyone feeling pleased. When women know how to ask for and receive what they want in a way that has him feel good, he will gladly produce it. Everyone wins. In this session you’ll find out:

*The A.R.T. 3-step approach to asking, and getting, what you want
*The role doubt plays as a necessary first step in a man’s process of production
*The importance of women being clear about what they want as the starting point for getting it

“Before the workshop I had a concern/doubt that starting our business together as a couple may not work given our past patterns of conflict. I now see that we can have an amazing business together even just by being clear on what I want and recognizing that he is willing to give me what I want. All there is for me to do is to Dance with our needs as opposed to battling with them. I would highly recommend this workshop to any couple or single who is up to creating awesome relationships with the opposite sex.”
-Marie Oliver, Real Estate Associate (Lethbridge, Alberta)

As you can see there is a lot packed into this 2-day program, but this isn’t all.

The Saturday night “Ideal Date” is the highlight, and the turning point of the weekend. It’s a chance for men and women to experience the reality of what they heard during the day. Women get comfortable with their desire by getting together as “one woman” and creating a list of what they would want on an ideal date…from flowers and chocolate to dinner in Paris, no request is off limits, ever. Your desire is the power that moves both your lives forward, so embrace and celebrate it.

After the list is finished it is given to the men, who produce as much of what was on the list as they like. Some amazing things have happened in the past, simply by women asking for it, and men producing it because it felt good.
